Team Bergeron is located in Drummondville, Quebec and is known throughout the province for being one of the premier gyms that pumps out top MMA talent every year. This year Yanick Bergeron, who is the founder and head coach expanded his gym to match the demand of his evergrowing clientel. Just the upper level of his gym is 8000 square feet!
As we walk into Team Bergeron we are greeted by freindly staff which makes this an even better experience for all members. In the main reception area there is a great choice of MMA clothing, equiptment and accessories under the MMA Fight Shop banner. Team Bergeronpersonalized items are also available for members to represent thier gym.
Lets start out by giving our viewers a visual idea of the gym's facilities at Team Bergeron. As you enter the main gym area the first thing you will notice is the size. The gym has very large matted areas for general training and large groups. They have a full-sized boxing ring and enough punching bags for any size class. More matted area with a MMA style cage in the back to get the fighters ready for what awaits them in a real MMA bout!
But wait... Thats not all! Downstairs, where the former gym used to be, is just about as big as the main level. Once again all matted areas for large groups on busy days. Team Bergeron has a conditioning/weight training facility and a sauna on the lower level as well. There really is no lack of space here at Team Bergeron. They even have a room specially conceived for massage therapy.
If its supplements and healthy nutrition you are looking for they have it all. Open all the time, directly in Team Bergeron, is Proteine Plus which is owned and operated by Tito Basaneze who also happens to be an instructor at the gym. He has high quality products for all your needs whether it be muscle gain, weight loss, energy boost or just a nice healthy shake. Tito also has his own brand of clothing on sale.
Team Bergeron is especially known for its stand-up training due to the gyms dominance in Kickboxing and Thai Boxing. This gym offers much more than that! Besides the main striking classes they offer Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and all types of training covering every aspect of Mixed Martial Arts. The training at Team Bergeron is intense and they have some of the best instructors around. Along side owner Yanick Bergeron, MMA fighter Stéphane Vigneault heads up the advanced MMA training.
