MFL Battleground weigh-in results and commentary

The FightWorld crew was at the MFL weigh-ins this afternoon where we worked along side Gary Whittaker from thefranchise.ca Here is his write-up on the weigh-in results.

We are waiting on word from the MFL for the official reason on why Isidro "Chilo" Gonzales was replaced in the main event by Chester Post. Rumors arethat Gonzales was unable to cross the border due to legal reasons. Chestor Post is a very experienced fighter who has 6 wins in 25 professional fights.

We are also waiting on confirmation on which fighters did not officially make weight, as fighters can agree to a catch weight in the last 24 hours before their fight. The weigh ins took place at the Bistro Boulevard Lounge located at 10215 Boulevard St-Laurent, Montreal today at 2pm.

The most heated exchange was between Marvin "Beastman" Eastman and Steve "The Boss" Bossé. The staredown was full of intensity, but no words were spoken, but neither was a hand extended in sportsmanship either.

Neither fighter weighed in, so I assume that the match between Nordine Taleb and Justin Primmer has been scrapped.
